Bafang G01 number of speedo magnets confusion

I bought Bafang G01 front hub motor which is exactly the same size, weight and visually like this one: http://www.bafang-e.com/en/oem-area/components/component/motor/fm-g010250d/

Also running it on the bench it goes to > 50 kms/h which looks similar to G01_standard in the ebikes.ca simulator. However the strange thing is that my motor have only 1 speed signal per revolution from the internal speedo hall. Bafang specs says - 6, also ebikes.ca specs for G01 is 6 per rev. On the body of the motor the code is "SWXK36V250W255R".

I am wondering - from where this confusion comes? The seller in aliexpress also had in the specs the same picture from bafang site with 6 pulses...

I've found both 1 and 6 magnets on other types of Bafang motor. It's nothing new. They fall off anyway.

Indeed, I opened it yesterday to look for an option to install thermistor and it have 6 holes on the side plate but only one magnet. They just saved some money from the magnets. I will post some picture later.

Here are some photos from the internals of Bafang G01. I wanted to install a thermistor, but it's very tricky with this motor. The cable enters from a side plate and not the shaft, and it's sealed with some plastic material where also the phase cables joint are within the plastic. I guess this is good from sealing point of view but not if you want to drill a hole for an extra cable. I can reuse the white speed hall cable for the thermistor but don't wan't to loose the speedometer.

So I decided to make temp protection very simple - will install a themal bimetal switch for 90 degrees C, which will cut the speed signal. So when I loose the speedo, I know I reached 90 degrees and have to take it easier.
