Hi, I have an issue with my 80 amp sabaton controller. When I go above 2500 watts, it just goes dead stick and shuts off completely. The screen goes black and the motor stops providing power. It never produces an error code after I turn it back on. It also drops the voltage for a split second from 72 to around 50 something before it dies. I have a breaker in the system but that is never tripped during this issue. The controller is on factory settings for an 80 amp controller. Any advice would would be appreciated, thanks

That's a BMS (damage/fire prevention board in the battery) shutting off to protect the battery.

It could be too high a load on the battery so a cell group is dropping in voltage enough to trigger BMS LVC, or the BMS may have current sensing and it's triggering the BMS current limit.

If it's a "smart bms" with bluetooth and an app, you may be able to access information either during the event or "offline" and see what is happening.
