Hi all,

I have a "Watts Up" meter attached to my ebike/battery setup. (48v LIFEpo4 batt, 12ah) ... I know I should have the cycle analyst, but can't afford it right now... question is .. im no electric expert.. I don't know what the heck i'm reading on the thing.. its points out the 48.55v, and many other numbers, Ah, AP, w .. all I want it for is to know when my 12ah battery is coming to the end of a charge... i *think* the watts up meter measures ah's during each ride... but when I turn the bike off and back on the ah is back to 0.000 ... so anyone know how it works to measure my battery charge??

Thanks!

here is a good link, there may be others:

to log total amp hours used after turning the power switch off:

either use a 9 volt battery on the 'aux voltage input' to maintain meter readings, or mount the meter on the battery side of the power switch.

the numerous other meter readings can be good for trouble shooting, ie max current, minimum voltage, etc.

you should have gotten a little writeup with your meter; post here if you have more questions.
