CA V3 CA-DPS TO CA-DP MOD

Hi
Im in need for some tech on modding the v3 to getting speed data from the controller halls.
I know i have to replace the white wire on the sp pad thats used for the wheel magnet , for the yellow unterminated from the 6 conductor CA-DP harness.
Thing is im not sure on the black wire going to board [ black boxed in pic ] ?? i know its the ground from the wheel speed sensor but is it common ect .....

Nope - it's just specific to the wheel sensor.

• unsolder both black and white wheel sensor wires
• Attach yellow CA-DP wire to Sp pad.
• Set new pole count.

Done!

Yep. Same mod will work there as well.
(Page 22 of CA 2.3 User Manual briefly describes possible sources of signal for Sp pad on circuit board.)
