I offer you my version of the graphical application for СА. To transfer data to the mobile device I am using serial 2 WiFi module ESP 8266. This option has some advantages over bluetooth.
1. Significantly greater range, particularly when using an external antenna. This allows you to use the application for telemetry.
2. A more stable connection.
3. Automatic connection.
However, there is a drawback - high power consumption of the mobile device. This is achieved using the optional DC-DC converter to charge your mobile device.
The current version of the following options:
1. Display of speed using a sensor or GPS
2. Indication of the voltage to 130 V
3. Indication of charge and discharge current up to 2000 A
4. Display the battery capacity percentage and Ah
5. Registration of peak current and voltage
6. Registration of the maximum and average speed
7. Daily odometer
8. Instant and average consumption Wh / km
9. The calculation of the range on the remainder of the charge
10. English and Ukrainian languages
If the theme is interesting, I will provide a link to download.

Hi Frud,

Can you provide links on ebay to the parts you have used? I intend to just buy what will work. Particularly unsure about the logic level converter.

(which ESP8266 did you use? I have a Esp-05 Remote Serial Port Module sitting about at home)

Cheers!

I continue to refine the application. Instead of the arrows, the speed is displayed as the arc. It's closer to a common style. The application runs in full-screen mode.It prevents sleep mode for Android devices, currently available data from CA. Added option to display data from CA. Display can be switched off. Added a test mode. It is now possible to see how the application works without connecting to the CA.

Very nice, I would like this in my projects.
Would you consider adding bluetooth connectivity?
bluetooth support will not be available . WiFi only

There are various versions of Cycle Analyst, will this work with one specific version of CA or with all versions of CA?
Nice work, and especially on the data logging.

Awesome. Will give this a shot soon! :)

Do you have any plans to do temperature tracking/recording throughout the ride? I would find that very, very useful for some of my current projects.

Thank you very much for sharing!

I liked it from first time i saw it from one of your posts.
