That is really clever! Very simple, but clever non the less. That's basically how a standard softstart circuit works, but I never considered such a straight forward approach. :D

The pictures speak for themselves but you can use e.g. http://babelfish.altavista.com for automatic translation. Not perfect but that's no problem for "context restricted techno-geek-speak".
