My old front wheel and fork got destroyed in an accident with a car,
so as I have to replace it anyways its now time to mount the Q100H in the front to finally have 2WD.

Do you see any problems using this fork for the task:

edit: (the fork it postmount and not IS2000, could not find a good picture of it)

Does it make sense at all? I still want to keep the machine light...
I am a bit unsure if and how I can add a torque arm to this.

I know its disc brakes only, so I will need to add a matching brake.
Larger disc diameter does not hurt at all, right?

thank you for your inputs!

I am a little unclear what you are asking, but the Fox products are generaly good quality and you should not have any problem mounting a Q100. The torque arm is easy. Here is the frt. mount on my 2WD;

Shame on you. I'd never use one of those Jubilee clips because they have a nasty habit of breaking when needed. This is a much better way to do it but it only works with a side-mount fork or caliper:

Thank you guys for your input! It took a while, but I hold the fork in my hands right now. Its really nice built, very light and stable. Already love it. Getting ready to go 2WD soon, will keep you updated.

ES rulz!
