Line Load on power wires

Is line load going to be an issue with my new build? My battery has 10 AWG wire and my controller has 18 or 16 AWG wire. Will this be an issue? Should I replace the leads with all 10 AWG wire?

My battery is 2 16Ah 6s turnigy multistar Lipo in series. My power level is 1500W 44.4v. The controller says 45A. it is an 18 mosfet trapezoid wave controller.

How much distance between battery pack and controller?

TBH, I've never found need for 10ga wire.

12ga is what I run 40A service from a trailer using several feet of 12ga wire.

The length is from the controller on my downtube to my backpack.

8awg is what i use with xt 90s for my backpack wires at 40a i dont get much v drop just be warned soldering wire that thick is hard and you need flux

You can keep the short wires coming out of the controller, but go at least 12g for the long run to the pack.
