Hola,

I am intrigued to see designs/idea about how single pivot rear swing arms that mount in the same point as the bottom bracket work?

Pretty sure the Futr beta is built that way?

is it a case of bearings on the outside of the bottom bracket shell and the rear swingarm brackets clamping over them?

Still learning...

Here's a pictures of a Cove G-Spot FR frame with BB concentric pivot:
The swing arm is split and clamps around the bearings.

Other frames have this feature as well:

Avner.

Thank you, that makes it clearer in my mind.

So I assume that the the wider the clamps, the less lateral flexion the swingarm will have..

Thank you

If anyone could link me to an exploded diagram that'd be most excellent?

Thanks for the link, kind of you.

I still need to see how it all goes together to understand it more.

To see the shell, bearings and bottom bracket fixings for them etc...

Am I right in thinking the bearings for the swingarm, that sit around the bottom bracket shell, are pressed on?

Some tasty looking designs on that link!

Thank you :)

So when those bearings slide over the bottom bracket shell are they simply a "snug" fit or pressed?
