Cyclone 3000w V3 cycle analyst

It’s my first post on here’s so please don’t hate too hard for my first time on here.
I’ve just bought a cyclone and would like to know if I get the cycle analyst v3 stand-alone with the shunt if that will give me the features that I’m really looking for if controlling volts amps speed and what not or just give me a monitor to look at what’s going on.
