Hi Everybody,

this is not my day

I have the following setup:
2 Cycle Analyst
one runing a C9 2707FD Front Drive Moter with Phaserunner
the other runing a BBSHD Mid Drive Moter with Phaserunner

I changed one Cycle Analyst to run 5v PAS for the BBSHD PAS Sensor the other I left stock (10V). Big mistake, should have changed both!

Both Cycle Analyst are connected to the PAS Sensor of the BBSHD with one cable not having the V+ Line.

Now I just pluged the wrong Cycle Analyst (10v) to the PAS Sensor (5V) of the BBSHD and the Cycle Analyst went dead right away!

I checked with the still working Cycle Analyst the PAS Sensor and that one is dead too.

Opened up the dead Cycle Analyst and it looks ok.

Any Idea how I can fix it?

Cheers,
Christian

Depends on what died. If it's just the high-voltage-to-low-voltage converter, you can bypass it by putting 12v to the low-voltage input pad on the CA board inside. (I don't recall which pad but the CA manual or ebikes.ca site should list it).

for other possible failures:

If you can't fix it you can call up Grin for an RMA to have them repair it.
