Bought a charger requested 8 amp and got 7.5 ampere. I know it’s common that this happens all my chargers aren’t fully rated.

Question, anyway to gain an extra half an amp? I know that are some adjustable pots to allow charging voltage to vary, but not seen anyone adjust the current.

No idea what is making this photo upside down? Click to enlarge and it’s right side up.

Maybe it's your BMS that's uncalibrated. Have you considered using a good quality Volt/Ammeter?

Short answer is no I’m confident that is the correct reading and also out of curiosity I’m interested in whether the current be adjustable.

If I gain an answer and perhaps demonstration then I could consider a spend on a quality amp meter.

Open up the charger and take some pictures, then we can tell if it's posible to alter the current.

You have a lot of faith in the Chinese BMS correctly measuring the charging current.

What makes you trust the BMS more than the charger?
