Hello, i need some help to find + and - pin on this type of hall sensor
I think + its pin 2 and - pin 3 but i am not sure .
The board its from shimano steps e6000 motor. I want to connect to external controller and use it with throttle.

Sorry but i dont see any usefull information in your image. I see on many diagrams that Gnd is pin 2 but some its pin 1

Yes - your motor does not use SS41/SS411 TO-92-style compatible parts.

That image was clipped from an SS411A hall datasheet - far and away the most common hall in ebike motors. I did not notice a couple of things in your shot that should have clued me in to the error.

Do you think its ok to use the board how is now?
Betwen each sensor signal and +v/gnd is a smd capacitor.
The capacitor is used usually betwen +v or gnd?
Should i remove them?
Thank you

Meanwhile i read about capacitors and they are linked to ground.
On the board the capacitors are between signal and gnd. I will let them i guess they dont make any harm if shimano use them.
Going to solder the cable, i hope this week i will test it.
I am curious if i can use the torque sensor from the motor but will have to wait, not much time.
Thank you

Any news? Did you manage to use the e6000 with an external/custom controller?

Yes, I leave only the board with hall sensors, take the wires out from them and motor phases. I try first with a square wave 250w controller but it doesn't work well, too loud and jerky. I change to a sine wave controller and it works great but I use it on 48v and 30a and break a few teeth on a plastic gear
Now I find a cheap motor and I want to replace the gear and put a 36v 350w sine wave controller.

Hi
I'm going to do the same with e7000. Do you have a pinoutnof hall sensor connector do connect to KT controller ?
