Hi again, keep running into problems whilst trying to put together the kit I got from bmsbattery. I tried looking through the forums but couldn't figure it out, sorry if I'm asking really obvious things.

Basically I have no idea how to know for sure what kind of thread the axel has. I have the Q11 48v1kw kit from bmsbattery. I got the standard M14 nuts from the diy shop but they don't screw on. They only have one kind of thread in the shop. I would be happy to buy from Amazon or ebay if only I was sure about what I need is called. The axel looks like this :

Dunno if it's possible to figure out for sure just from the picture? Or maybe someone knows the kits. I would have expected bmsbattery to send the nuts with the wheel but that didn't happen annoyingly.

My second question is about torque arms. I have a rear mount wheel and the bmsbattery torque arms. Can't figure out how to attach them, especially on the side with the derailer, just doesn't seem to fit well. Here are some photos. Any suggestions super welcome.

Thanks a lot!

They're [wrong]m14 x1.75 [/wrong], if I remember correctly. Unavailable except at ebike shops, I suspect. I also thought BMSbattery ships them two in a little bag with torque washers. I'd suggest you contact them if you didn't get them.

Thank you! They didn't and I just dont want to wait for a month for postage so I'll try ebike shops.

I just called up a few shops and they don't have it. They all seem to sell ready made bikes and not really selling bits like those.

Been trying to look on ebay and Amazon for UK delivery but I can't find any for sale. Any ideas?

Oh #$%@^/. My first answer was not even close. They are 12mm.

I checked what I have and my 12 x 1.50 and 12 x 1.75 taps don't fit. I believe they're 12 x1.25.

If you're in the UK, check with that Woosh vendor,

For me it's definitely M14 x ???.. So maybe we have different kits. So back to square one :) hopefully someone else has a Q11 48V1KW kit with M14 axel

You say that it is M14 , next step is to measure the thread pitch ; https://www.amazon.co.uk/metric-thread-gauges/s?page=1&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Ametric%20thread%20gauges

Thanks. Figured it out, in case someone needs to know, it's M14 x 1.5
