Best controller for 20S 3kW motor?

Hi all,

Would you recommend me controllers for a 3kW motor, running a 20s 90A pack?

Also what is the cheapest FOC controller that fits these requirements?

Don't cheap out on your controller.

Kelly KLS-7230S is a very solid controller, it will handle your 90a with no problems.

After 1,500+ miles, I only have 2 issues with the controller.

1. Accel ramp is not very exciting.... power comes on a bit slow for the first 10-15mph, then it rips your face off. I use 3T high speed motor which exaggerates this a bit more. Controller puts more emphasis on a slow and steady start ensuring traction over speed.

2. There is no dashboard or display that just plugs in. There is a BT dongle for programming but nothing like a SW900 or LCD3 display. I currently use a GPS based speedo and a 200a shunt with it's own little volt/amp meter display.

I bought a sabvoton 72150 w/tft and it was complete trash(lasted 50mi). I'm running a Mobipus controller now, its FOC, not sure it's the cheapest. SamD sells them if you're interested, Good luck.

Seriously, its badass! I'm working on getting the tablet mounted to the bars right now,. There's some info on it in my build thread, let me know if you need help.
