Hi Folks. Just a quick first post to say "Hi" and thanks for a couple of interesting threads here that helped plan my e-assist install on my trike. Install was fairly straight forward with the exception of a few brackets I needed to make up and a power and speed sensor cable that needed extending. The latter was more painful but I managed to make one up which worked fine.
Interestingly, despite the Higo plug being a 6 pin, there were only 3 wires (green, red & black) so extending it was fairly simple, if not fiddly.. Anyways, here's the QNT all finished and waiting for the storm to pass tonight for her first test ride tomorrow. Everything seems to work fine so I'm hopeful all will be well. I have ordered a dual chain ring (42T/52T ((I'm on 20 inch wheels all round)), the metal gear cog and the KT LCD3 screen to accept the open source software that looks very promising. So here's a few pics of the finished trike and thanks again for your help.
