Hi All

Well tonight I attended the OEVA (Oregon Electric Vehicle Association) monthly meeting. Much of the discussion was about their up coming Electric Vehicle Celebration Day on July 9th at the Pioneer Courthouse Square. I asked if the local E-S guys could display our bikes at the event. I was told yes they would find room for us. So it will be much like PSU's earthday, we ride in and show our bikes and spread the word. I think there is a lot of positive things we bring to the table and the people I talked with were open to it. An ebike is a reasonable first e investment, I'm sure all of us here on E-S will eventually buy a Tesla, right? I'm going to bring my Revive and a demo motor, maybe something a little fancier. Anyone want to bring their bike is welcome, lets spread the word! The OEVA isn't going to charge us for the space as we aren't selling anything. But what we can do to help the OEVA is to let the ebike and escooter dealers around town know about the event and possibly get them to help sponsor the event and in turn get some good exposure. More information is available here. http://www.oeva.org/events/awareness2011/index.shtml So please let me let know if you'd like to bring your bike and spend an afternoon showing off your bike and answering questions.

Thanks

I don't know about a Tesla but I saw my first Nevco Gizmo at the EV Awareness Day five years ago. Fell in love with it at first sight. Took seveal years but I own a year 2000 model now. Number nineteen.

I would enjoy attending again. It all depends on my work schedule.

Hi All

I have to apologize for not being able to put the time into pumping this up as I should have. I've been focusing on finding a job and getting back into the work force. I will say I have enjoyed the opportunity to work on some of my long term projects that have not been moving forward, unfortunately all these projects have the same problem, having enough cash to to purchase materials. So I'm stuck between not having enough time and not having enough money....... Somehow I think most of us understand the issue.
In any case I was planning on bringing my Giant Revive 2 wheel drive bike isn't going to be done, so I'm currently modifying the battery packs for more capacity and less weight. Hopefully it will be ready for the morning.
The OEVA knows were coming so please if you have the time, this will be an excellent opportunity to show it doesn't have to take thousands of dollars to get involved with Electric vehicles.
Hope to see you there tomorrow

Greenerwheels, Steve
