E-cargo bikes in Oakland, CA?

Hello everyone,

I wanted to send out a message to the group and inquire about local riders in the Oakland/Berkeley area who are using electric assist cargo bicycles. I've been an xtracycle rider for several years and have a new interest in going electric. I'd love to have a chance to meet some of you who have already made the leap to talk about your experiences and check out your rides. I recently cut back to half time in my day job as an anesthesiologist and have a potential interest in starting up a retail shop for these carbon saving machines. I'm in Oakland and am just completing my first ebike build. I've been thinking about doing a cargo build next. I'm a big fan of transportation and utility cycling. I'd be happy to talk about this or get together and look at bikes or something. PM for contact info...
