Outdoor Demo is Mon-Tue / Sept 18-19, at Bootleg Canyon (just like before).

The indoor convention is Wed-Thu-Fri, Sept 20-21-22

Flights and hotels can be much cheaper if reserved at least a month in advance. There have been changes over the years, so...don't count on any aspect being the same. For instance, in the past the convention was open to the general public on Friday, but...for some reason they will not be doing this in 2017. If you planned on going to Interbike 2017 and attending on Friday, now? you must find some way to register. Ask a local bike shop near you to sponsor you as a bike shop employee. Or post here in this thread, and maybe an ES member can get you registered...

This is very likely the last time that Interbike will be in Las Vegas, there will be an announcement soon, and the most likely candidate is Denver Colorado for 2018. [edit: it has been announced that the next Interbike will be in Reno Nevada]

General purpose map of hotels close to Interbike (at the Mandalay). Remember, the New York, New York, plus the MGM and Tropicana have pedestrian bridges to cross the street, and the Excalibur has an elevated tram to the Manadalay.

Mandalay Bay is where its at, The Luxor and Excalibur are a short walk to Interbike

I think MXUS will be there. I was negotiating the price on their MXUS 3k turbo V3 and they recommended I go there to see their products. I only wish I had the time and money. Alibaba is so useful. $287 for 3T motor spoked into 19"x1.85" moto rim including shipping.

Interbike sound great, but unfortunately the general public is not allowed - only industry.

Just got a message. Interbike 2018 (one year from now) will be in Reno, Nevada...

I had hoped that it would go to Denver Colorado, but...I have no control over that.

78 cells in series?

78 cells in parallel?

A mix of series and parallel?

Of what chemistry?

At what current output?

At what capacity?

What physical size restrictions?

I will likely fly into Vegas for a day or two of interbike.

Hehe... "experts in ebike sales, marketing, technology, policy, and more"... Maybe be gentle with them LFP... Wear dark goggles... use a white cane... tell `em yer looking for those "self-driving" bikes. You DO wear a disguise, correct?

EDIT: BTW. At the Spring Bike Show in Toronto, one ebike seller was handing out balloons. So. If ES'ers were to walk around carrying a helium-filled balloon? Might be easier to spot. Kinda short notice re the "Flag for the Global Electric Bicycle Nation":

I might have a cane or a crutch, but unrelated to trying to disguise, and more for my own semi-gimpy walking. I'm happy to have anyone at interbike or anywhere recognize me, I've got no beef with anyone and love all ebikes and pedal only bikes alike.

`Kay... Just sayin'... "experts in ebike sales, marketing, technology, policy, and more"... Seems like some "experts" might be climbing aboard the Ebike Train/Steamroller/etc? Starting to say stuff like "I like, BUT..." stuff. I find it preferable just to walk away leaving some "confused about their own reality". I'm still seeing reports in "medias" where some seem to be carefully overlooking the obvious at bike shows.

(ESB "No suitable matches were found." ... for Glide Cruisers USA... `til now. )

Highest Score [C]omment on PB (+ 36 and counting)?

That's not a "utility bike" or even some kind of "e-bike", it is a f*cking scooter. It is less relevant to mountain biking than the trays of donuts. W.T.Fing.F. Pinkbike.
