How are these drives surviving 72V? I just killed mine in a few mins running a full charge 72V pack through a Luna "tiny sinewave" controller. Is it too many amps? I hear they run fine on ERT controllers and phaserunners. Mine got super hot and died after a mile or so of generous throttle.

Sounds like you got the phase wires wrong and was in the "turning but low torque and running hot" combination.

I guess the good news is that you got the controller working?

Not quite. It ran hot and at about half the power it should have had. I was out testing it when it fried. It felt less powerful than a stock BBSHD actually.

Yeah for sure. There was no working combination unfortunately. 2 other controllers worked fine though. Its a shame, thing looked great.
