Ok so I have this old radiator fan motor that i plan to overvolt to death but now i need a controller as soon as possible n since Im currentlly residing on a rock in the c'bbean sea I need to ship one. 36v 500w is good enough. So I went on ebay n found this one, problem is its an RC controller n I building an ebike, will it work ? ... whats the technical difference between a scooter controller n an RC controller AND will I still get under voltage protection ?

In case ur wondering I didnt choose other more suitable controllers on ebay because even though the offer international shipping they only taking paypal and my card wont be verified soon enough !

It doesn't matter what the application is, it still says it's a controller for a DC motor, which should be OK for your motor.

Most of the guys using RC motors here are using brushless (three phase motors), which this controller would not suit.

If it doesn't explicitly mention it has a low voltage cutoff then it probably won't have one. You can just use an external voltmeter to monitor your batteries.
