Cyclone USA

I'm considering purchasing a Cyclone USA kit. Anyone have experience with them? What is the quality like and the customer service? I emailed them 2 days ago with questions but no response yet. Also can the 500w kit handle a 37 V 10 lipo????? Thanks.

The external controller can take 36v but the internal controller on the 500w motor is a 24v system.. will run on 10 x lifepo4 ( 3.2v ) cells but not 10 Lipo ( 3.7v ) as far as i recall.

In years past I bought 2 360w kits from them. The service depends on how busy the owner is because it's pretty much a "1 man shop". As I remember selling and servicing Cyclone kits is not his full time job. But he (wish I could remember his name) is a pretty good guy and will be very helpful and as long as you don't mind waiting sometimes he will give you very good service. I had (may still) his personal phone # and used to contact him that way when I was in a rush.

You can buy cheaper direct from TW. However, I had more problems getting them to respond then I did the USA distributor.

There are many...i would read them first.

I emailed Cyclone last week twice and never heard from them. Are they still in business? Can anyone suggest a midbracket design besides Cyclone? Thanks.
