Hi guys, thought I'd post some pictures of my new build.

It's a new 13 Alpha Incline, with BBS02.

I like to have my batteries in my backpack as it means I can switch between bikes easier, plus I like the way the bike feels lighter for jumps/bunnyhops/etc.

So I have XT90 fitted under the saddle with a custom designed and printed 3d part.

power cable hidden inside seat tube.

at present to sensors fitted to brakes. I got the hydraulic brake sensor cables, but I'm really not sure they'll mount well and even if they did, the very small movement required on the brakes might not be enough to trigger so not sure what I'm gonna do there.

had to put some washers as spacers in for lower mounts.

But other than that, it's worked well.

48T main chainring, with 34T-11T standard cassette on the back.

Nice Bike! Looks great, Im big on aesthetics on ebikes. I love the 3d printed connector, Im doing something similar but I have mine mounted just below the seat clamp collar and facing forward. My backpack battery wire also comes around to the front center belly area like an umbilical cord then down to the bike. Coiled cord so it has some spring to it.

But Im wondering what the best way to run a backpack battery wire, most people do it like you and have it behind them and down to behind the seat. When I had mine like that I would snag on it when I mounted/dismounted the bike. Are there any pros or cons you can think of for having the battery wire run behind you? does it get in the way when you get on and off the bike?

cord comes out just at top of front of seat post. yeh drilled a hole at top, hole at bottom.

I used to have cable coming around the front too, but I've swapped to back - with the fixed mount it's pretty easy to plug/unplug now and neater than having it coming around my front. I find it gets in the way much less now. I plug in once straddled, plug out before unstraddling.

I've also printed some 'guides' around my battery cable and linked them with a re-purposed retractable lanyard.

this keeps things neat when I'm on bike, and the retract means I can stand up, etc and there's cable to spare when there needs to be.

I'm probably going to cover that with a bit of black stocking (i.e. ladies tights). So basically the cable will be completely hidden from rucksack to the saddle.

Shout up if anyone wants the 3d part posted (solidworks and can post STL) - should fit most saddles and XT90s.

and here it is covered in stocking. So nothing to get caught on anything and also more 'stealth'.
