CA V3.1 Beta information

Good day

Looking for some clarification...

I have CA V3.1 Beta and I see that the PAS set up is different than the CA V3.01 in that there is two new settings in "PAS Config". Could someone please explain what the following settings are for:

PAS -> Asst Start = 000 Watts

PAS -> Asst Factr = + or - 00.00 W/RPM (tops out at + or - 40.00W/RPM).

Any assistance in clarifying these two new settings would be great. Thank you.

Is it getting any cheaper? Ive always struggled to understand the price of the CA when the cost of case, mcu, shunt and pcb isn't that insane.... I guess its just the low production numbers

Worth every penny of its current price.
 
FWIW I think it would be really great if it was a smartphone app rather than a bit of plastic mounted to the handle bars. A smartphone app would be great for offroad
