The name Boom Bee sounds nice
will the boom effect come from a 4 to 6kwh battery that can handle a maximum of 150 to 250A discharge?
or will it become a really serious escrosser with a capacity of more than +10KW and good range ? if so then it will cost more than € 8000,- I assume

So is the Sur Ron!
I order stuff from China all the time. Through Alibaba, eBay, etc.

I think I got 50% of the article because google translation, but... seems a bit overengineered when you can use this
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007Y5GMOM (plus: I found that having the handlebar on this kind of stem can save it from bending in crashes)

What documents must be included with new Sur-Ron to register it as moped in EU?
I might buy one from local private seller, just want to make sure I will not have problems with registration.

SInce the Sur-Ron rear tire only lasts 500 miles, what are you guys replacing it with?
I don't see many posts about what everyone is using as a rear replacement tire, even though I'm sure most have put 500 miles on their sur-ron so they had to have replaced it.
My front Sur-Ron tire is still very new after 500 miles, no reason to touch that one and it will probably last 5000 miles.
I do like the stock Sur-Ron tire because they are very soft and only 2 ply, light weight and flexible. It just sucks that it wears out so quickly.

I am thinking about the same. Would like to find something that doesn't rip up or damage the trails I ride too much. Those Pirelli's look bad ass, imagine they would make a lot of damage. Any other suggestions?

Good grip with less trails damage = trials tire.

Does anybody know how to take apart the RST fork? Left side is no problem, but I'm not sure how to take apart the right side with the damping adjusters. I don't want to break anything. My hope is to install some spacers on the spring to increase the preload.

Why are you taking it apart, routine maintenace or damage?
Its hard to find any good information on taking apart forks, at least that is what I found. I believe most people never bother to open them up and just buy new.

I want to install spacers to increase the preload. I’ve seen people upgrade the springs so they must come apart.

Can someone summarize the euro x controller as far as the regen functions with respect to mode, brake switches and effect of cutting the green wire? I'm pretty sure is isn't like the X controller available in the USA.
I've read the whole thread so I know its in here but we are at 160 pages to wade back through

To all those out there that swear the Sur Ron can't compute with "real" dirt bikes! This guy took first place in an open class race!

Hei Guys
what about the battery life after 1 year, do you see a big difference?i am not convinced that the pf cells are the best one for that bike.

Pf-s are champs for longevity and good in price, ok in everything else. Hence it is the default option if you want to sell something and not have angry users coming back after 2-3 years.

Anyone here in zip code 28756? If so, I think you're my neighbor. What are the odds of seeing another Sur-ron.
