Thinking of puting 2 chrome gel cell 15amp in the packs for a combined 60 amps at 24 volts. Do ya'll think the stock speed control can handle the amps?
 
You're conflating amp-hours (charge quantity) with amps (current). At the same voltage, your controller will draw the same current unless the battery voltage sags enough under load to limit it. So you can have 7Ah or 7,000Ah, but the controller will put out the same peak power at 24V.

Also, adding batteries can increase voltage or amp-hours, but not both. Adding two 12V x 15Ah batteries in parallel to a 24V pack that already contains two of the same results in a 24V x 30Ah pack, not 60Ah.

Adding more lead to any bike is a really terrible idea, though. Save your money for lithium.

Yes.

In addition to what chalo wrote, the ezip trailz system is counting on battery weakness to limit the stress on the motor. Anything you do to increase stress on that motor puts it at risk of overheating.

I dont have the money for Lithium . packs are currently 2x10amp each side wired parallel, so 2x10, x 2 at 24volts for 20 amps. I can get 4 - 15 amp agm chrome batts for 100 shipped and just use longer bolts in case to make it work.
 
Those aren't "amps".

They are "Amp-hours", commonly abbreviated Ah.

They do not mean the same thing at all.

If you don't use the right terms, it's confusing to everyone, including you.

Better to use the correct terms, and to notify the retailer that they're using the wrong ones, too, so neither of you perpetuates the problem and confusion among yet more people. ;)
