I could order the motor as a kit however it comes with a 48 volt controller and I will need a 72 volt controller as I will be running three 6S packs in series and fully charged will be 75 volts which is actually higher than the 70 volts I calculated for so top speed could be > 50 mph.

Note that at 24 volts the motor would be turning 2,250 rpm at 900 watts and gearing would be < 25 mph so it would NOT be overgeared with an 84 tooth sprocket however at 4500 rpm and 1,800 watts it will be overgeared by 7.5 mph as 1,800 watts = approx. 38 mph. Now at 2,625 watts it would be overgeared by approx. 16 mph as 2,625 watts IS capable of 50 mph.

I plan on mounting the motor to the rear rack of a 26" Haro V3 mountain bike. It has disk brakes on the front and is built solid but lightweight.

I have searched long and hard for a sprocket large enough that will work and DO NOT want to use skinny #25 or #35 roller chain. is there a way to drill the holes to make that sprocket work with that freewheel clutch? Also what roller chain size 11 tooth motor sprockets will work with #40 roller chain ? Please will someone let me know.
