DIY non-hub Chinese Motor

Hello,
I am trying to build an ebike without a hub motor, I have been looking at brushless motors and I have found this:

That Motor probably costs a ton. I'd go with a cyclone 3000W

Don't you think 4.5kW is too much?? (I need the motor for an e-bike)

Hahaha, you haven't searched and read this forum yet, have you? There are some seriously wild builds with 10-15kW (and even more...) motors. And yes they are ebikes. But the "legality" varies as there are only a few places where the law would allow such powerful "bicycles". Here are some good threads for inspiration:

Those industry motor prices are just ridiculous. I once asked a supplier for a 3KW DC motor, he quoted me 1200€ :lol:

It's the same with forklift Motors.
