Cyclone BB threaded the wrong way? WTF?

I dont know how this is possible. Im a machinist, I know this is HIGHLY unlikely (damn near impossible) as a mistake during manufacture. The bottom bracket that came with the kit is threaded in the wrong direction. Im installing this on a K2 Crush that doesnt seem remarkable in a way that would make me think its non-standard. Im new to this, does threading direction have to be specified when ordering (I got this from Luna)?

If this is the first time this has popped up, Ive checked, rechecked, and checked again. Its threaded in the wrong direction. The hell?

I only done a couple Cyclone kits.... But it's pretty normal that one side of a bottom bracket is reverse threaded?

Right side cup has left-handed thread.
