Annoy bike friction kit: any one tested?

Post by mago_gi » Aug 11 2018 11:43am

Hi all

Wondering if someone has tested this unit:

Annoy bike friction kit. Price seems fair and wireless throttle put a big smile on my face. Also, it seems esc is integrated inside motor unit. Great!

Annoy bike friction kit.
Annoybike. I love it.

It's this for annoying your bike, or making a bike to annoy others/yourself? Either way, brilliant.
This is to express my gratitude to Justin of Grin Technologies for his extraordinary measures to save this forum for the benefit of all.

Must be annoyed with some serious friction.
Shipping: $959.34 to United States via DHL
Or EMS for a mere $1,458.81

Shenzhen China Post does not appear to be an option.
Last time I used, the donkey cart got eaten by a Grue.

Here, without the miscalculated shipping cost:

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Pedelec ... 45199.html

Or you can contact seller. OP's one shows $999 to ship to eu too.
If you do buy it, be sure to report back. Eager to see how these kits perform.

The kit you've linked is a totally different product.
Miscalculared shipping is also for EU but standard one is 30€. I will contact seller

Does not look like a quality company that understands their product from here - and thus probably cannot support it. Good luck though and let us know how it goes.
Efficiency is everything :bolt:

My first major build: 1.6kW 8T MAC motor on a Trek 4500.
The new all-arounder: Leafmotor 1500w @ 4kW on a Turner O2 full suspension.
The monster scooter: 20" eZee on a Cannondale Semi Recumbent.
Whipper-snapper: ? on a lightweight BikeE Semi Recumbent

So.. still no news about this kit? Im also pondering idea about such kit.. though I would order a different one, this one:

https://www.aliexpress.com/i/32965870432.html

Seems way better built.. the green urethane part doesnt give much trust for me.

There's also one with narrow roller/wheel (this one also seems to be worth testing, also cheaper than the first option)

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Booster ... TEM_DETAIL

And one with pulley system (gives me the least trust to buy it / try it)

Any feedback would be great.. some anonymous aliexpress buyers have left a few notes but it is not enough to determine its technical peformance.
