Hi there
I recently upgraded my 8-speed gear system to a 10-speed Shimano XT.
The gear sensor was working fine with the 8-speed gearing - all gears upwards or downwards
Since I upgraded to the 10-speed, the gear sensor is not always cutting off the motor. I tried a Deore shifter and still doesn't always operate properly. I assume that the sensor is not sensitive enough to work properly with a 10-speed shifter because of the shortest cable movement of the 10-speed systems compared to 8-speed.
Has anyone else noticed the same or my gear sensor is defective?
Thanks
Costas
