I thought I might be clever and try out a Bafang press-fit adapter (https://www.empoweredcycles.com/collections/8fun-bafang-bbs02-accessories/products/shimano-pf41-bb92-89-5-92mm-to-bsa-adaptor-for-bbshd) to fit a TSDZ2 to a pf92 bike. After looking at the axle width of the Tongsheng (end of the manual https://opensourceebikefirmware.bitbucket.io/development_tsdz2/EmbeddedFiles/119-TSDZ2%20INSTALL%20MANUAL.pdf) it seems like the motor axle won't be long enough. Dang, any hope of redemption?
