Bbshd bb compatibility

Hi All
Apologies if this is rudimentary but i am looking to convert a 2009 carrera fury to bbshd.
The bb is 68mm so that aspect works. However i am unsure if the bb fitting works. The bike as standard has a Truvativ powerspline.
Will the bbshd work or will it require an adaptor.
I would be very grateful of any guidance

I'm not familiar with the Truvativ powerspline (so I googled it). You will have to remove the existing Truvativ powerspline and replace it with the BBSHD. Looks like you need a special tool to remove the powerspline. The BBSHD comes with it's own cranks and won't be compatible with your old ones. I don't see why it won't work.

As fechter says, the BBSHD has integrated cranks and bottom bracket, and replaces whatever is on your bike. It doesn't engage the existing threads in your BB shell, so it works the same with English or Italian threading. You'll be removing your old cranks, bottom bracket, and front derailleur. Your old pedals will transplant onto the new cranks.
