Suspension Wheel with pneumatic-spokes!!! Checkit!!!

Very awesome!!! 10 inch of travel is cooler, although it's good to think in other ways! https://i.imgur.com/744mJVW.gifv

I saw that recently. My first impressions are likely reduced side load strength and high cost (3 shocks per wheel). Cool concept though, maybe it will find advantageous applications.
July 2019 first build: 2009 Giant Trance X3 with stock BBSHD 52V
Next build: Just bought used 2009 Giant Trance X4, likely BBSHD also, maybe hotter controller/battery, undecided
Lots of other fun toys: Wildcat X, Xtrainer, 1978 KE100, Hypermotard 1100

That is an old (absurd) concept that never took off, for good reasons. Yet, some are still bringing it back once in a while...
Make it fool-proof, and I will make a better fool.

the world's only chalo-approved suspension:

Just got an idea. :-) You could stick a small belleville washer (or two, they can be stacked nested to double spring constant, or facing each other to double displacement distance) on the back of a spherical washer (to provide the angle), and the belleville stack could offer some additional linear movement on each spoke, perhaps 2mm per spoke from the belleville washer stack in addition to whatever linear movement you can gain from the spoke stretch (which isn't much with the very short spokes). This could perhaps make a short-spoked hubmotor wheel capable of distributing an impact load over a very wide group of spokes, just like a normal long-spoked bicycle wheel.

This could be the long-term spoke reliability solution for big diameter hubmotors laced up with short spokes.

I gotta say-- it's such a good idea, I wish I'd thought of it myself.

so with this you have 3 shock absorbers.
for the cost of those shocks you could buy very good quality front wheel fork,
no wonder the idea never was never implemented in MTB for example
