Missing a few parts which I have plenty of but otherwise no worse for the wear.

Debating between throwing on a TSDZ2 with a shark pack i have laying around and flipping it or putting a DD rear hub on 3k and making it a fun project for myself

The frame is pretty damn sturdy and appears more overbuilt than my stumpjumpers and rockhopper. Fork is in good shape but kind of crappy...probably sufficient to get me going if i make a project, but some thing I want to upgrade for higher powered application. Also, the geometry isn't quite as slack as I would like for high speed

Not a bad find overall though

I'd have grabbed it for sure.

The consequence of DIY tech, is many can't.
Most all my entry to the field was from sloughs by those who were in over their head.
Impulse contributes, but kills often.
I am always in over my head. It inspires me to try to get to where the air is.
That's why I love you guys.

My current favorite is a 2005 Giant TCR a guy was pitching into a Goodwill bin.
I gave Goodwill some cash to balance the karma.
20 lbs, all ultegra. He was just pissed at it.

After 5 trash ebikes , i was able to save a great bike , built by an idiot with premium parts but no brain or skill.
In other words me 4 years ago.
To realize your dreams, in development, you have to take a lot of naps.
