I need a battery for a 2008 Kona Dawg Supreme. The standard smaller battery case fits, the style that is ~14" long and 4.3" tall. I can't fit the 5" tall size. So, I'm looking for the best 52v battery with enough power for a BBSHD with a big rider for MTBing for exercise (I will be pedaling). I wouldn't need a ton of AHs as my rides aren't that long, but I want max amps for the short but steep hills one encounters while trail riding.

Would one of these be a good choice? Or anyone have a better option to remember?

All 52v.

20ah but with "TST 4800mAH Cell(21700)" cells. I'm worried it will arrive and be taller than the 110mm in the pic.

I would not trust the dimensions on that one. They are not in proportion to the pictures.

Why 52V and not 48V (which is easier to get in the smaller case)?

Yeah, 48v will be plenty, for somebody who pedals and runs a mid drive.

In the end, you will buy what will definitely fit, AND is actually in stock. Still a ton of stuff you can get one day, then not the next. Covid.

Thank you guys for the replies.

Have the firmware issues been fixed with the BBSHD and 48v 52v batteries? In searching I ran across lots of people having issues with their controller if they had a 52v BBSHD (which I assume I have as I just bought it) and ran a 48v battery. Lots of people having to flash firmware/etc. I assumed a 52v battery would eliminate that problem, AND I'm 6'5 270lbs so a few extra watts wouldn't hurt on the short hills.
