I'm looking to buy dual spotlights(2 units) with long beam in the middle for long distance. not horizontal flood pattern

I already tried a few from aliexpress which were all falsely labeled as 84v and got burned instantly  at least I got refunded.. so it can be 12v or up to 85v, I'll use a 12v converted if needed

Any suggestion is welcome

I have these and like them. Running at 84v

Trafic?
Riding the streets at night in a city, ideally requires automotive standard lights. This means a 12v circuit and motorcycle light set. That is what I recommend on fast ebikes.

Riding the bike path can be done with bicycle or ebike lights.

Riding off road at night does require work lights, the aftermarket kind that are commonly used on off road vehicles, farming, forestry equipment.

Two expensive but very good lights:

Supernova M99 Pro (449€)
https://supernova-lights.com/en/products/e-bike-lights-45-kmh/m99-pro/
Daytime running lights, low beam/high beam
24-60VDC (75V max), so you might need DC-DC converter if pack voltage is too high.

From my own experience, it's better than lights on older/cheaper car.

Lupine SL X (429€)
https://www.lupine-shop.com/de/SL-X-fuer-S-Pedelecs/d4000-035
Daytime running lights, low beam/high beam
24-48VDC, so most probably needs DC-DC converter.

Both have very good beam cutoff, so you won't blind other people in traffic.
Those cheap lights don't have any beam cutoff, so even it's set to illuminate very close, they will still blind others from far away. Fine alone it the woods but hazardous in traffic.

I'd recommend not stepping down 84V to ~2-3V inside a light housing that's already hot. Do it externally.

Luminous flux: 6000Lm/Hi, 6000Lm/Lo
Input Power: Real 16Watt/pc

375 lumens per watt.

Yes, streets, no off road

some reviewers say that the beam doesn't spread for far enough distance
I need it for 40mph/65kph speed and will mount it fairly low

I know the supernova from first hand and it's pretty good, but isn't it hugely overpriced for the type of hardware it has?
I'll mount it in a low position for long beam so it won't blind drivers anyway

my budget is up to 100$

thanks everybody

This light is really bright! I ride Enduro trails at night with just one of these.

Looks like they only have silver now I have the black version
