Bicycle type or Scooter type e-bike?

There are two types of E-bike available. One is bicycle type and the other is scooter type (like a Vespa).

Which one do you prefer and why?

Bicycle type .. hands down.

Bicycle type for me since I can still ride sidewalks legally where I live (so I don't get killed). Less potential attention from cops too.

but scooter type might be good if you want to get your bike legaly registered as a motorbike.

under uk law your vehicle has to meet cirtian safety standards which they do test for. these include headlights, indicators, mirrors, horn, brake lights etc. a scooter type bike would be a better starting point if you wanted to be a leagal motor bike because it has most of these things already. scooter style also has more streamlineing fairing stuff so therefore it will go faster.

bicycle type without a doubt - looks very close to normal, doesn't attract attention, people don't notice the fact it's electric.
