I'm getting some of these $4 battery switches http://www.harborfreight.com/automotive-motorcycle/battery/battery-cut-off-switch-92688.html and figured I might as well order some other stuff as well.
I don't know what "way off" is, but I got mine for 2.99 and it has worked great for a year so far. I haven't calibrated it to a fluke or anything, but it does the job.
4$ ? I the sunday paper we get a coupon for a free meter or a free frashlight ect. or it's on sale for 1.99 yes it has reg. 64.6v for my ping the radio shack read 61.1v then tied the H.F. 61.1v it just needed to settle down. they have rolls of scrink tube and pull tires. 150w. big head soldering iron to heat the 2 oz. puddle of solder slag so I can remove 4 poches all at one time.
Those meters are alright for their price. Just dont' put more than 10A thru them for more than 30 seconds.
