How many washers for the BL-36

Hi,

When I have receveid the BL-36 kit it came with one regular washer on the rigth side of the wheel and one other for the left side. Is it safe to not have one of these torque washer and ok to just have one regular washer on each side?

I have no washers on mine, and I'm running 72V 30A on it. Kinda worry about it, though. Torque or lock washers (or both) would be a good idea.

Cheap and easy to find at most hardware stores or auto-parts place.. i'd get one.

Not the end of the world, but they do help in keeping your axle nuts tight by pushing/spring action / etc.. makes the first whole turn of the axle nut tight. :wink:

Do you mean a torque washer?

Torque washers are like whitey-tighties: You don't have to have them, but they do a good job of holding your nuts in place.




Locktite or Nylock nuts are a fair alternitive.
