I am looking for a bag that can hold the 36V 15Ah Ping battery (http://www.pingbattery.com/servlet/the-9/36v-15ah-lifepo4-lithium/Detail), and its 225x105x150 mm on my Paratrooper Pro. The bike's top tube isn't conventional in that it's bigger.

I came across Revelate Designs (https://www.revelatedesigns.com/index.cfm/store.catalog?CategoryID=4&ProductID=29), but am unsure as to would it fit that brick.

Does anyone have these bags and can attest to their velcro straps being long enough to support Paratrooper's tube?

Either of these might as well be too big for the 36V battery, but Amazon gives nothing even remotely compatible, and I want to keep it on the frame, not in the back, or the front.

If these two fit, then just barely:

The best ones I found were these:

http://www.amazon.com/Banjo-Brothers-Waterproof-Saddle-Trunk/dp/B003D4IT8K

I've been looking at these bags for the past 1.5 hours, my pink eyes are crisscrossing. I don't paying premium for a long-lasting product.

Thanks in advance.

The triangle bag at EM3ev does have long straps. long enough I think. But you could just add length to other bags straps pretty easy. Sew a short piece of each kind of Velcro, then add to the existing Velcro.

If you are going to trust Velcro, then more Velcro is no different right?

Personally, I'd sell that bike immediately. Or, 36v 15 ah is only about 11 pounds, about what is pretty tolerable on a rear rack.

I'm not set on velcro's. It hasn't been the most feasible way of supporting things. My baseball cap's velcro has seen better days.

Why would you sell that bike? It's a good, reliable folder. I'm thinking of mounting a 350W Bagang crank drive on it.

EDIT: to add to the reason for keeping the Paratrooper Pro (PP), I just took a few measurements of the two bikes and got a clearer idea why my wrists have been hurting on the R1 more so than on PP - it's longer by 8 inches (63" on PP vs 71 for R1)! Not only is the PP foldable, it also doesn't hurt my wrists that much, because I don't lean on the handlebars. Plus, I can balance well with one hand. If I was to sell either bike, it'd be the R1.

Just email Revelate and ask him about capacity. I'm sure he would also makeyou a bag with longer straps - he's always custom making stuff. I think you can also buy direct. There's also Porcelain Rocket too...

Savvvas.

So ,one year later. Are you still happy with the hpc bag for your paratrooper?
Oh yeah, it's a solid bag; it also has an extra pocket on a side for various things to be stored. But since I've been mostly commuting, the bag wouldn't really work since it's just too big for a comfortable ride to and from work. I've built a 48V 10.5Ah Konion pack and stashed it into a Maxpedition carry-on bag.

Where do you mount the carry-on bag on your Paratrooper? Pictures please!

You're looking at it in my previous post.

Looks nice.

I bought a couple of the Revelate bags in the top. I carry a 10lb battery in the large bag - works great for me in a triangle frame.

If it was me, I would find a way to put the batteries in that bike and make them invisible (as others have done here).
