CT 4825 Wiring Help. What is it??

One extra connection to the controller that I'm not sure of its purpose, a two contact female connector like the throttle type on the controller. The controller is a version 2 if that makes a difference. What is it ? Blessings, Snow Crow

It might be the brake switch connector.

The two wires are black and red. Sorry I didn't get back with an answer last night, hell of a storm here, had to unplug my computer The motor and battery wires look like 18 awg or 16awg at best, WHATS UP WITH THAT :? Shouldn't they be at least 12 or 10 awg to handle the wattage
