Re: Drag race Tesla, Zero, Energica etc
I would have enjoyed an invite to that video shoot with my bicycle.

Each carcinogen vapor exposure includes a dice roll for cancer.
Each mutagen vapor exposure includes a dice roll for reproductive genetic defects in your children.
Each engine start sprays them into a shared atmosphere which includes beings not offered an opportunity to consent accepting these cancer experiences and defective genetics life experiences.
Every post is a free gift to the collective of minds composing the living bleeding edge of LEV development on our spaceship.

Once you passed the 160nm, you feel your heart is left 3 ft behind on a start.
At 195nm, this bike is a beast that few have the balls to kick full throttle

Make it fool-proof, and I will make a better fool.

Hey Luke, No doubt !

what do you think about the sudden little " boost" the energica had againdt the P85D ? was the controller in "first stage" phase current limiting for the first second ?

Re: Drag race Tesla, Zero, Energica etc
They only vehicle I would want out of those is the Model S (the Ferrari is second, but I can't afford to own one).

Re: Drag race Tesla, Zero, Energica etc
I have to admit the model s impressive. It was keeping up with thd bike for most of the track until the near end. I guess if tesla can work on upping the 30-60mph acceleration, it might keep up with the bike. But yeah that much power on a bike that can flip if you throttle too much takes guts to ride without drag stablizer in the behind.

Look at the p85d dyno graph. The tesla starts dialing back torque sharply at around 40-50mph. The bike wasn't changing torque in comparison.

Re: Drag race Tesla, Zero, Energica etc
It looks like my next motorcycle will be the Energica! Maybe a couple years down the road... I was worried I would miss the speed of my S1000rr, but looks like that is a non-issue
.

Waiting for that perfect ebike.

Ok si i guess the Tesla was entering in power limiting at that speed...liveforphysics wrote:Doctorbass wrote:liveforphysics wrote:I would have enjoyed an invite to that video shoot with my bicycle.

I guess the 85D driver couldnt find the "insane" button !

...with that acceleration, they would be at 60mph (100kph) within 50 yards !...Looks like a short track. 1/8th mi. Nice to see some variety in the vehicles.
