MSDS needed for Turnigy and Zippy Lipo

Post by newb » Apr 23 2015 7:27pm

Hi Everyone,

I am in need the MSDS (material safety data sheet) that Hobby King uses when it ships lipo abroad. I have already asked them for this however their response was "at this time the information is not available". If anyone has a Hobby King MSDS I would greatly appreciate receiving a PM w/ a digital copy of it or a link where it is posted.

In case it there are multiple versions I am looking for both Zippy and Turnigy 6s 5000mah 25c Lipo packs.

Reason for my request: Sadly I am leaving Oz and moving to the States (L.A.) and it is much more cost effective to include my packs in a container w/ my other belongings. Otherwise, I will have to sell them at a fraction of the original cost and then purchase them again once I arrive Stateside.

Again, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Cheer, Zak

Here's an MSDS sheet for Lithium Cobalt batteries like Turnigy and Zippy:

http://www.batteryspace.com/prod-specs/ ... 202015.PDF

Also on page 6, handling requirements for transport by ocean are covered.
