Jury Selects 11 Eurobike Gold Awards

Early August a six-strong panel of judges faced the challenge of selecting the innovative highlights for the next model year out of 458 entries, 14 less than last year.

Award ceremony

Which new products have been honoured with a Eurobike Award will not be revealed until 30 August, the first day of the Eurobike show. The award ceremony will take place in the West Foyer of Messe Friedrichshafen as from 5.30 pm. Among them will also be the winners of the newly introduced Start-up category.

Members of the jury

According to Eurobike the members of this year’s panel not only supplied the necessary expertise but, thanks to their well-balanced mix of talents, also guaranteed that all subject areas really were covered. The members of the jury for the 2017 Eurobike Award were: Ernst Brust of velotch.de, Artefakt founder Tomas Fiegl, German pedelec expert Julia Milan, Spanish trade specialist Fran Garcia, Joel Natale, Head of Purchasing of British Evans Cycles and Amsterdam’s Bicycle Mayor Anna Luten.
