NEED HELP CHOOSING BMS

Hello ebikers

I am shopping for a BMS for my 48 volts (11.6ah) battery made of Panasonic NCF18650PF. I will be using the battery with my 1000 watts motor (My controller is a sinewave 48 volt with a max output current of 26 amp). I am a newbie with BMS.

Does how many MOSFETs is a BMS made of matter (4 MOSFETs, 6 MOSFETs)?
Does temperature sensor matter in a BMS?

My pack is in a hailong battery case. Therefore, I have to use a small BMS to make it fit

You don't need to worry about the number of mosfets. Just look at the total rating. If you get a 40A Bms, you'll be fine. I tend to choose ones that have a separate charging mosfet so that you get independent charge and discharge control.
