Lots of excitement these days about how the "World's first bicycle ride took place 200 years ago", the date on which the German Baron Karl Freiherr von Drais took his new invention out for a ride on June 12, 1817 and the "modern" bicycle was born?

Fast forward to 1881, when up/down the Rue de Valois street in Paris, France on April 19, 1881, Gustave Pierre Trouvé rode his battery-electric powered bike (tricycle... the first REAL "modern" bicycle)...
