I can't seem to find this bag anywhere online. Anybody have good recommendations on an alternative?

The Additive V2 bag has been out of stock since around August 2017. I've been checking their availability periodically since then, but Ive never seen them back in stock. AFAICT, they're not available anywhere else and there's no real alternative to their unique design at this moment in time. Believe me, I've looked.

Thanks for the suggestions, but their mostly just bags that store on top of the top tube.

The V2 has side storage big enough to store 2x batteries which is very nice. It's a real shame that someone can't copy it and just sell a version as Additive themselves are a German company that doesn't appear to have any interest selling them elsewhere.

Thats exactly what I was going to post. Cant be that hard to make that V2 bag yourself. Heck you could do it with duct tape and some cardboard. Actually what I was thinking of when I posted my response a day ago in this thread was go to Value Village and buy two laptop bags and then you'd just need to link them and have the straps strong enough to hold your batteries.

Its quite a neat idea actually, but what I'd like is a way to easily take it off and on so you could lock the bike up and walk away with the bag and the batteries. Center weight, a touch on the high side and need to get used to the riding dynamics.

Local shoe repair shops are the places to go for a custom bag, especially when you bring them a drawing and the material. For the price Additive was asking for this bag, I bet you can have one custom made to your spec.

I emailed additive about a month ago asking when it would be back in stock and they said around middle May so might be available on their website soon.

I have a brand new V2 that i didn't end up using for a build.. Was going to save it as it makes it possible to turn any bike quickly into an ebike But if someone really needs it i can always get another later when i actually need it.

Only issue is I'm located in Sydney Australia.

PM me if anyone needs it
