We’re excited to bring Yamaha’s all-new Power Assist Electric bicycles to the U.S. this summer, and the Pick Your Passion sweepstakes gives us another way to share that excitement with cycling enthusiasts across the country.

This summer, Yamaha is bringing four all-new Power Assist Bicycle models to the U.S., including the CrossConnect, a completely accessorized commuter/utility bike, the CrossCore, a high style efficient fitness bike, the UrbanRush, a drop-bar do everything road bike, and YDX-TORC, a performance hardtail e-mountain bike. The Pick Your Passion winner will get to choose from the four models.

G'Luck All!

^^ HAHA... "No, the company from Japan that also makes pianos, silly".

Yeah, I forgot about that.

This beauty has dual hub motors and there is a LOT of room for batteries!

Is that the Piano Assisted System version? ;)

Does it come with a 250 or a 750 watt amp?

Might be hard to steer and play at the same time, though. Needs to be a tandem. :p

BTW, they call the CrossConnect "completely accessorized", but I don't really see much on there that isn't required just to ride it on the roads legally, besides a rear rack and a kickstand and fenders.

Given the statement above and this one on that page "Everyday recreation-utility for those that want to take their gear with them.", I'd expect panniers; a frame bag at the very least.

But it doesn't even have mounts for any of those.

The rack does appear to be designed for the frame, so it probably won't have some of the failures it might otherwise, with loads strapped up to it on top.
