I apologize if this is posted. I searched and did not find it. I'm looking for a good vendor for 18650 cells.

I'm in the US but I don't mind ordering from over seas. I'm only buying around 56 cells or so.

So far, irmbatteries looks decent. I'm not sure how their shipping is. I know that some places will tack on an extra 80 to 100 for shipping making it unreasonable for smaller purchases.

Luna seems to have limited options in bare cells and is not super affordable for that particular item.

Anyway, who do you recommend for bare cells?

Sorry I don't have any recommendations, but do any of these help?

I think I am going to do IMR. I did not see any strong recommendations for vendors in there other than a couple vape suppliers which did not have good prices for bulk purchases.

You don’t say your requirements. Capacity, power draw. Hard to guess what will suit you.

In any case, buy from a reliable source for genuine cells. Paying extra for genuine cells is always a good investment.

First define your requirements, and choose a cell brand and model according to manufacturers spec sheets that are published online. Then find information about dealers who are known to sell them genuine.

It took about a month to get but no one can beat Nkon for best price shipped to you. Bought over 300 30Q cells and nickel.

Hey Tom, how are shipping prices from NKON to the states? a lot of their prices are pretty similar or more than IRM however, I saw some awesome deals like the Sony US18650NC1 2900mAh was 2.72 USD for 50 or more.

MadRhino: I am just looking for good vendors for bare cells. I am building a 52v 10ah-12ah battery with a constant draw of 20ah but I want at least 40amp of constant draw available. I will probably build a 14s4p pack of samsung 25rs. these have a 20amp draw though. I could reasonable go down to a 10 amp draw with out issue assuming that I stick with a 4p configuration and do not go to a 3p.

For 305 cells and a shit load of nickel & other bits and pieces was 75 euro. If you add the cells you want to the cart and your USA state and zip it will give you the shipping cost. Use the Nkon that does NOT have VAT.....that is for everywhere but the USA. Rule of thumb more p is better than stressing cells. I would tell you to go 14s5p or 6p. More the merrier! To go 14s5p = 70 25R cells shipped to me in Missouri adds 30 euro for a total of 177euro which is $208.26 at today’s conversion rate. https://ru.nkon.nl/rechargeable/18650-size/samsung-18650-inr18650-25r.html
